Community Engagement Initiative
The Community Engagement Initiative is a five-year effort intended to strengthen the System of Support by building the capacity of school districts to authentically engage one another. This includes identifying effective models of community engagement, developing metrics to evaluate those models, having difficult conversations, building trusting relationships and participating the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) development process.

presents a six-part webinar series
Join us as we learn more about how the 12 Community Engagement Initiative – Cohort II districts are addressing the needs of stakeholders in their communities by using the Root Cause Analysis of Student & Family Engagement. Each week two districts will share the journey they have taken to address one of the core root causes of ineffective community engagement. Viewers will learn about strategies, structures, practices, policies, and procedures these districts have adopted to more effectively engage their local communities in support of improving student outcomes.
