MVUSD is participating in the Community Engagement Initiative because community partnership is a cornerstone of our district’s philosophy. District-level efforts to partner with our community have been a priority and have been steadily expanding. The focus of our CEI journey is looking to shift our mindset from engagement to partnership. We aim to do this by embracing a more proactive approach instead of only engaging families when there is a concern. We want to break down silos and be intentional about bridging the gap between our schools and our families.
