At Alvord Unified School District, community engagement is integral to our mission of providing first-rate education to around 20,000 students across 23 schools in Riverside, Corona, and nearby areas. We believe that excellence is a collective endeavor, made possible through active participation from students, educators, and the community at large.

We actively involve students in shaping their educational experience and encourage teachers to take on leadership roles, all centered around the twin pillars of Literacy and Equity. These focus areas serve as the backbone of our educational initiatives, forging a unified community committed to academic and social success.

Understanding that each student’s needs are unique, we offer specialized programs like Dual Language Immersion and STEM, which thrive on community input and support. Parents, local organizations, and other community stakeholders play a key role in these initiatives.
