Oakland USD's Community Engagement Problem of Practice

EQUITY CONCERN
Need stronger practices for engagement/partnership with the African American Community and our growing Mam speaking community

STRATEGY
Our goal is to continue to keep students and families at center by leveraging relationships, during COVID, and beyond. Our Family Navigator program was launched during COVID and has proven to be key in linking families to need services, information, and resources.
